Tattoo’s should always be about something that’s important and meaningful to someone. If a book touches a person to that point, then they have every right to get a permanent reminder of it. It’s not stupid, at least not to them; and after all, it is their body, their choice, and it’s not something that physically causes harm to other people, why get up in arms about it?

I have a tattoo that a lot of people in this world may deem as “Permanently stupid” but it matches one my best friend (of 15+ years) has, and whenever I see it I think of us. Besides, I’d totally love something for HP on me, that books a big part of my childhood, and a big part of where I am now.

Also, agreed with Elisa, if I was a Death Eater (and if wrist tat’s didn’t hurt like hell) that’d be on me RIGHT NOW. I’d totally poke at it and hiss that the Dark Lord needs me before swooshing away mysteriously.
